Kogi BBQ Food

Chicken Burrito $6
Ingredients: green onion, chopped chicken, lettuce, eggs, potato, spicy sauce (not spicy), sesame
Taste: a lot of ingredients especially chicken, sauce tasteless, not too much sauce (but it’s alright). I like how they put green onion and sesame into the burrito to give some Asian favors for this dishes. By the way, the food is quite heavy, and I could not finish it.
Return Again: Yes. I want to try the Calamari Taco. Most likely depends on the location if it is close to school.
Recommend to friend: Yes
Improvement: There are 10 people in the line after the rush hour of lunch time. I wish the service can be faster. It would be great if there are any pictures for the food. Perhaps, they can have some labels like ”Manager Special” so the customer know which one is the most popular item. I would love it if they have student discount.

Spicy Pork Taco $ 2.29

Ingredients: Pork, corn tortillas, sesame, chili salsa roja, julienne romaine lettuce and cabbage tossed in Korean chili, soy vinaigrette, cilantro, green onion, lime, relish, crushed sesame seeds, sea salt
Taste: Initially, not too spicy (as advertised), but has a nice chile flavor
Return Again: Yes
Recommend to friend: Yes
Improvement: A list of ingredients for each item on the menu – in a way, what we ordered was a surprise.  A picture or some kind of menu breakdown would have helped to make for a better decision.

Kogi Dog $6
This is what we were expecting…and what we got:

Ingredients: Hot Dog Bun, Kimchi Flavored Hot Dog
Taste: i could not taste the kogi marinade on the hot dog. tasted like a regular hot dog to me, nothing special
Return Again: i would never order this again.
Recommend to friend: no
Improvement: either lower the price or make a bigger hot dog

Blue Moon Mulita – $3.29

Ingredients: beer flavored pork, corn tortillas, cranberry sauce with sesame, grilled onions, cilantro, cheese
Taste: there was a very bitter after taste, but tasted like a pork quesadilla with extra onions and a cranberry sauce.
Return Again: yes
Recommend to friend: no
Improvement: do not order this item, this is a bad mix of flavors

Calamari Taco – $3

Ingredients: calamari, corn tortilla, lettuce, sweet zesty spicy sauce
Taste: exquisite!
Return Again: yes
Recommend to friend: yes
Improvement: have the menu break down each item

Spicy Pork Taco- $2.29

Ingredients: Pork, corn tortillas, sesame, chili salsa roja, julienne romaine lettuce and cabbage tossed in Korean chili, soy vinaigrette, cilantro, green onion, lime, relish, crushed sesame seeds, sea salt
Taste: Initially, not too spicy (as advertised), but has a nice chile flavor
Return Again: yes
Recommend to friend: yes
Improvement: add a little sweet to the spicy pork, it is a little bland

Short Ribs Taco $2.29

Ingredients: Marinated short ribs, corn tortillas, sesame, chili salsa roja, julienne romaine lettuce and cabbage tossed in Korean chili, soy vinaigrette, cilantro, green onion, lime, relish, crushed sesame seeds, sea salt
Taste: The meat was cooked very nicely, and not too chewy, and the ingredients seemed fresh. The taste of the beef was very sweet and the vegetables had a kind of a tangy taste to it. Overall, the taco was tasty, but a bit too salty for my taste.
Return Again: Yes
Recommend to friend: Yes
Improvement: Maybe less sauce on the ingredients would be better.
